Mc Ardle Meats 3 stores all made it to the Top 20 STAR SHOP Awards held in the RDS recently with the Marshes achieving top honours claiming the Best Butcher Shop in a Shopping Centre in Ireland

The awards were held at the Annual SHOP show held in the RDS in Ballsbridge, Dublin 4. Mc Ardle Meats Charlestown Store and Clanbrassil Street store also made it into the Top 10 and Top 20 respectively. This is a huge achievement for Mc Ardle Meats with the Clanbrassil Store been crowned Best High Street Butchr in the previous year. For all three stores to reach the Top 20 Butcher Shops in Ireland is a testament to all the Management and Staff involved.

Mc Ardle Meats Creamy Garlic Potatoes were recently awarded a Bronze Medal at the Blas na hEireann Irish Food Awards in the extremely competitive Ready Meals Category.

The Food awards were held in Dingle on the 6th of October and a large number of the top food producers from around the country flocked to this corner of Ireland for the event. The product is one of Mc Ardle Meats best selling products and is a recepie that has been prefected over many years. The awards also marked the unveiling of a new brand for Mc Ardle Meats Kitchen products. Pictured below right is Frank receiving the award on behalf of Mc Ardle Meats from John Mc Donald and on the left Frank with the product which is identical to those sold every day in Mc Ardle Meats 4 stores.

Mc Ardle Meats became the first Butcher Shop in Ireland to become accredited with the new Certified Association of Craft Butchers of Ireland standard.

All three stores were among the first stores in Ireland to be put through the rigorous testing and auditing process in order to achieve the prestigous standard. Pictured below is Keith Shortt, Proprietor and Managing Director of Mc Ardle Meats receiving the accreditation award.

FBD Retails Excellence Awards are focused on promoting and recognising standards of excellence in retail and the Awards programme is now the largest of its kind in Ireland. The judges feedback given as part of The FBD Retail Excellence Ireland Awards included comments such as "This is a great butchers to visit, very impressive range of high quality meats plus innovative pre packed meals for those in a hurry", "McArdle Meats is innovative in food, they offer customers who are time poor a great selection of pre packed dinners prepared in their own facilities". Our four stores have this accolade to their name.
